So, I have been thinking about what I can contribute to this community, rather than being a silent admirer and favorites lister; the problem is that I'm not very artistically gifted, which makes "making a mark" rather difficult.
What I decided to do was to maybe write up a review or two a week of my favorite shows, games or TV series, give out some rational thoughts about it, and give a recommendation. You guys would, of course, be welcome to present your own arguments or views as well, for a rational discussion. However, if you can't discourse rationally, and start getting belligerent, I will ignore you and/or block you, as the need may arise. As with everything, they're only entertainment media, and there's no reason to get emotional and overly excited about them.
I know that most of the games and things I'll end up writing reviews for are older, and you can find professional pieces anywhere, or have even likely already played or seen them; my plan is that these are going to be the starting point, and if enough people like my writing/critique style, then I'd be willing to do some personal critiques of whomever's work. (Disclaimer: I'll only do story reviews, because I don't know jack about photography and painting, which makes my critique worthless. Sorry.)
What do you guys think? Does that sound good?
These are some of games I'd first write up (please let me know which one you'd want first, and keep in my mind that I had a PS3 and 360, but only have an Xbox One now):
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Mass Effect Trilogy
The Last of Us
Kingdom Hearts series (most of the games in the 1.5 and 2.5 HD remix)
Dragon Age: Inquisition (Origins and 2 might show a little, too)
Fallout 3/New Vegas (primary impressions of 4)
The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time trilogy
If you have a personal request, go ahead and say in the comments below, and I'll let you know if I can/have played it.
